In a flash, we have ended up at our first year of dating! Crazy to think that we were able to meet at a Halloween party one year ago. Who would have known all the special moments that would be created because of that night? To celebrate, I’d like to revisit some of those moments we have gotten to share together, big and little.
Noah Kahancert
This was such a special concert to go to with you. It was so funny splitting up from you and trusting that we would find each other. And incredible that we got to listen to music that is so important to you. I love going to concerts with you, can’t wait for the next one.
Wedding
We love dressing up, but this was a totally different level. I appreciate how well you get along with my friends, and how you were able to convince me to dance. It’s still talked about to this day how much you were dancing that night!
Our Niagara Trip
A truly magical trip. From our chicken coop-side accommodations, to the beautiful tulip farm, to the cute wine tasting, and then our full day in Niagara, it was special to have a trip like that together. It taught me how good you are at planning, and I appreciated all the activities we can do together.
Ballet
Another experience I would have never had without you. Despite the rain’s best efforts to ruin our night, we couldn’t stop smiling at everything about the evening. Our fun drinks, getting dressed up again, even the train ride together was fun. I appreciate all of the incredible experiences you find for us.
Family Cottage Trip
I knew you would love this one, for the great beach and the cute cottage. It was cozy, but the weather held up so we spent so much time outside. I’m thankful for all the time we get to spend with my family, the little ones in particular love you so much!
Sports!
I am so lucky to have found someone so athletic! You have a motor that just never quits. Playing sports is one of my favourite things to do, and I LOVE to do it with fun people. You are a perfect sporting partner, up for any kind of sport and helping me to push my limits. I could not ask for anything more.
Food Pictures
Food is such an important part of your life, and we love to share our snacks and meals even when we’re apart. It’s become an iconic part of our daily discussions.
Goofy Pictures
Even more iconic is our absolute goofiness. While we haven’t captured all of our best funny moments, I still love to look back on all ones we do have saved. I’m so thankful we can both keep up with each other’s silly natures.
Bedtime Pictures
Finally, the most iconic is our late night chats. Our favourite time spent together is right before bed, when we can truly be ourselves and accept each other and love each other. Even when we’re apart, we share so much of our bedtime rituals.

The first year of our relationship has been an incredible ride. We have experienced so much together, learned so much about each other, and done it with smiles on our faces.
